Are People Really Giving Fiji Water to their Pets?

Mr. Foo the Cat Drinking Fiji Water

We can't say for sure on a large scale, but anecdotally—yes! As people are becoming more conscious about what they're putting in our own bodies, it's only natural that we start to think about our pets as well. For years, many of our bestselling dog foods, such as Orijen, Acana, and Blue Buffalo, have been those that emphasize natural, organic ingredients and whole proteins. But how many times have we refilled our dogs' bowls with unfiltered tap water?

It may sound silly to give a dog fancy bottled water, but pets do face the same health risks as us from lead, chlorine, cysts, pesticide runoff, and other dangerous elements in their water. Not everybody here reaches for the bottled stuff, but most of us do use a standard kitchen water filter such as a Brita or Aquasana filter before serving water to our pets. It's a simple precaution that helps ensure our pets are getting the same wholesome water that we are.

But, for those who want to go above and beyond, and give their pets the luxury treatement, we are now offering Fiji Water for sale. Many of our staff members are big fans of Fiji Water personally, so we secured a distribution arrangement and are happy to share the savings with our customers (and even their pets) as well.

VIC's own Rick has even started serving it to his cat, Mr. Foo (photographic evidence above). As far as we can tell, Mr. Foo loves it (and he's one lucky cat)!
