We have worked hard to make ordering prescription products on our website as easy as possible. However, we understand that some people are more comfortable ordering over the phone. If you would prefer to order over the phone, you are welcome to call us toll free any time at (877) 367-4486. We will be happy to take your order and answer any questions you might have.

How Do I Place My Prescription Order on Your Website?

In order for us to ship a prescription product to you, we must first verify your prescription with your veterinarian. It's important to visit your veterinarian first before you order, even if you are ordering a medication your pet has taken in the past. Your veterinarian may need to examine your pet before approving a new prescription.

To order, use the browse or search feature to find the product you would like to purchase. Select the correct size or dosage, and click “Add to Cart.” Once you click “Add to Cart”, the site will walk you through the process of collecting medical information on your pet and veterinarian. We will also ask you whether you prefer to have us contact your vet, or whether you will be mailing us the prescription.

Contact My Vet

If you choose this option, you will need to provide your veterinarian's fax number. Our pharmacist will then fax a form for your veterinarian to sign. Once we receive an approval back from your veterinarian, we will ship your order.

I Will Mail It To You

If you choose to mail us your prescription, you must send us the original copy of the prescription signed by your veterinarian. According to US pharmacy law, photocopies, emails, or faxes cannot be accepted.

Once this is done, you can continue shopping or proceed to checkout. Prescription orders can be paid for just like any other order.

The process is quick and easy, and, aside from providing a bit of additional info about your pet & vet, there's nothing further you need to do!

How Long Will It Take to Receive My Prescription Order?

Our goal is to ship your order as fast as possible. Because prescription orders involve communication with your veterinarian, it is important to allow a bit of extra time. Some veterinarians respond the same day, while others can take longer.

Once we have verified your prescription, we will package it and send it using the shipping method you choose at checkout. In most cases, standard or free shipping will take 3-5 business days to arrive. For faster shipping, 2-Day shipping is available at checkout.

Planning ahead is important to help expedite your prescription order. Here are some tips to ensure a smoother verification process:

If you are having us fax your veterinarian...

  • Ensure your pet has visited your veterinarian recently. One of the most common delays we encounter is veterinarians who decline the initial prescription request because they have not seen the pet.
  • Check that the name you provide for shipping matches what is on your veterinarian’s records. If the veterinarian’s office has trouble finding you in their files, that can delay the verification process.
  • Apprise your vet’s office to be expecting a fax from VIC.Pharmacy.
  • When you order your product, make sure the quantity and dosage match what your vet has prescribed. Mismatched products can slow the order process down as well.

If you are mailing your prescription to us...

  • We cannot ship your order until we receive your prescription. If speed is important, choose a shipping method that is faster for sending your prescription. Consult with your local post office or other shipping carrier for the best option. We recommend USPS First Class Certified Envelope. This method includes tracking and certifies that your prescription will arrive, offering you peace of mind.
  • Make sure you place your order on our website (or with us over the phone) before the prescription arrives in the mail. This way our pharmacy department can immediately match it up and your package will ship the same day your prescription arrives.
  • When you order your product, make sure the quantity and dosage match what your vet has prescribed. Mismatched products can slow the order process down as well.

Where do I mail my original written prescription to?

Please mail the original copy of the prescription signed by your veterinarian to us at the following address:

VIC.Pharmacy
9542-B Union Grove Road
Union Grove, AL 35175

We recommend mailing your written prescription via USPS First Class Certified Envelope. This method includes tracking and certifies that your prescription will arrive, offering you peace of mind.

Please ensure you send the original copy of your prescription. According to US pharmacy law, photocopies, emails, or faxes cannot be accepted.

How do refills work?

All prescriptions are good for 1 year.

Refills may be provided at your veterinarian's discretion. Depending on the product and how often it may need to be reordered, your veterinarian may provide one or more refills when confirming your prescription with our pharmacist.

Refills may be ordered at any time during the period the prescription is valid (1 year), and we can ship them without having to contact your veterinarian again. (A check on our end by our pharmacist is still required.)

How do I order my refill?

We will send you a reminder email approximately two weeks before your prescription product is due to run out. This email will contain a link you can click to begin your refill reorder.

Alternatively, you may sign into VIC.Pharmacy at any time and visit the "My Account" page. If you have refills available to order, they will appear there under the heading "My Rx Refills."

What happens when I run out of refills?

When you have ordered all of your refills, or when the year from your initial prescription date expires, we will need to re-verify your next order for this product.

Prescriptions on File

We welcome our customers to provide prescriptions in advance. If you have a written prescription from your veterinarian, but you're not yet ready to order, you can still mail us the prescription. We will keep it on file for you, and when you are ready, all you'll need to do is pay and we can ship your order immediately.

Alternatively, you can ask your veterinarian to fax us in advance at 866-922-3360.

In either case, our pharmacist will review the prescription, and if it is approved, the order will be marked verified and set up for you to pay at your convenience. If you have a prescription on file with us, you can pay for it at any time by signing in and visiting the "My Account" page. If you have Prescriptions on File available to order, they will appear there under the heading "My Rxs on File."

How do I know I can trust your pharmacy?

Many customers have concerns about ordering medication online, and we understand! Unfortunately, there are sites out there offering counterfeit medication, or selling without the proper licenses.

We would like to reassure you that our company is fully accredited, and all of our product is genuinely sourced through appropriate channels.

We are approved by the National Board of Pharmacy for the Dot Pharmacy program (formerly the Vet-VIPPS program). The proof is in our domain name. Only pharmacies verified and approved by the National Board of Pharmacy can have a domain name ending in DOT Pharmacy. Look for the .pharmacy domain name when you order prescription medications online.

In addition to our certification from the National Board of Pharmacy, we are also individually licensed to sell in many US states. We can only ship prescription products into states where we are licensed. A complete list of current states is at the top of this page.

Returns

Unfortunately, due to pharmacy law, we cannot accept any returns of prescription orders.
